- 1940's - Henderson Community Hospital and Henderson Nursing Home began as an idea in the minds of several members of the Henderson Commercial Club.
- July 1950 - The first hospital was dedicated.
- January 1961 - The original nursing home was dedicated.
- April 1969 - A 21 bed addition to the nursing home was opened.
- November 1974 - The present hospital building came about with the outdating of the old hospital building.
- June 1975 - The laundry wing was completed after the removal of the old hospital building.
- March 1993 - The hospital board of directors purchased Henderson Family Care, a medical clinic.
- September 1994 - At the annual corporation meeting, the facility's name was changed to Henderson Health Care Services, Inc.
- December 1997 - The independent living units, Prairie Garden, opened for occupancy.
- February 1999 - The Henderson Family Clinic was relocated into the hospital.
- October 1999 - The assisted living units, Rosewood Court, opened.
- March 2003 - Dedication of
Henderson Family Care.
- September 2005 - Sutton Family Practice opened.
